1973 Plymouth Duster - $24,900 - Old Bethpage, NY - 1973 Plymouth Duster – Complete Professional Restoration! BEAUTIFUL CALIFORNIA RUST FREE DUSTER HAS HAD A COMPLETE TOP TO BOTTOM PROFESSIONAL RESTORATION TO 340 SPECS JUST A FEW YEARS AGO AND NEEDS NOTHING.
This Duster is in Excellent Condition. It has been fully restored and carefully maintained to the immaculate condition it is in today! The body is laser straight and rust free. All body panels are original with the original marking still visible. New Plymouth Duster Basin Street Blue Paint is less than 5 yrs old and as Smooth as Glass with that “Still Wet” look. All correct badging is in place along with the dual scoop hood and rear spoiler.
Interior is Mint, New factory recovered front bench seat. Door panels, carpet, headliner and dash pad are all in Great Shape. Rear seat is in excellent condition however the factory Plaid Pattern was not replaced and has faded a bit. Everything works as it should.
New Front Disk Brake Conversion along with a New front 1-1/4 inch powder coated Sway Bar, rechromed front and rear bumpers and dual front to back Flowmaster Exhaust. Car has a really nice rumble without the loud noise. Brand new wheel Vintiques wide 15×8 Rear Rims with New BFGoodrich Radials 275/60-R15 on factory correct Duster 340 rims.
This powerful engine is a 1972 340 that was Rebuilt less than 6K miles ago. Bored .30 over, 9 1/2:1 Compression. Heads were redone .480 lift .272 Duration Comp Cam, MSD Distributor, 6AL Box and Wires, Hooker Headers, Aluminum Intake and 600 Edelbrock Carb. This motor has 60lbs of Oil Pressure at Idle and Runs at 170 degrees all day long.
4 Speed Transmission with pistol grip shifter was Rebuilt less than 6K miles ago with a Blow-Proof Bell Housing and Hurst Competition Short Throw Shifter. New Ram Power Grip Clutch was installed less than 400 miles ago. 8-3/4 Rear was Rebuilt with 3.73 gears and a Sure Grip Posi
Overall the car Starts, Runs, Drives and Stops perfectly. It has Plenty of Power and everything is Nice and Tight. No Squeaks or Rattles. NO Leaks! All Lights, Turn Signals, Horn, Heater , Wipers and Gauges work as they should. The Doors Open and Close perfectly.
This is plenty of car for the money. No Disappointments here!
