1973 Plymouth Duster - $24,900 - Setauket, NY - BEAUTIFUL CALIFORNIA RUST FREE 340 DUSTER ! COMPLETELY RESTORED INSIDE AND OUT A COUPLE YEARS AGO AND NEEDS NOTHING . EVERYTHING WORKS AND SHE MOVES.This 340 Duster Clone is in Excellent Condition. It has Been Carefully Maintained and Upgraded when Needed. The body is Laser Straight and Rust Free. Paint is about 4 Years old and is Smooth as Glass. Still Looks Wet. The Picture's Do Not do this Car Justice.
Interior is Mint, New Factory Recovered Front Seat. Door Panels, Carpet, Headliner and Dash Pad are all in Great Shape. Back Seat is Perfect however the Factory Plaid Pattern is Faded
New Front Disk Brake Conversion, along with a New Front 1 1/4 inch Powder Coated Sway Bar, Rechromed Front and Rear Bumpers, and Full Flowmaster Exhaust. Car has a Nice Rumble but Not too Loud. Brand New Wheel Vintiques Rear Rims, 15X8 with New BFG 275/60/15.
Engine is a 1972 340 that was Rebuilt under 6K miles ago. Bored .30 over, 9 1/2:1 Compression, Heads Redone, .480 lift .272 Duration Comp Cam, MSD Distributor, 6AL Box and Wires, Hooker Headers, Aluminum Intake and 600 Edelbrock Carb. Motor has 60lbs of Oil Pressure at Idle and Runs at 170 degrees.
4 Speed Transmission with pistol grip shifter , was Rebuilt under 6K miles ago with a Blow-Proof Bell Housing and Hurst Competition Short Throw Shifter. New Ram Power Grip Clutch was installed 300 miles ago.
8 3/4 Rear was Rebuilt with 3.73 gears and a Sure Grip Posi
Overall the car Runs, Drives and Stops Very Well. It has Plenty of Power and Everything is Nice and Tight. No Squeaks or Rattles. All Lights, Turn Signals, Horn, Wipers and Gauges work as they should. The Doors Open and Close perfectly.
