1973 ChargerSE

I saw a '72 T&C wagon for sale near me in Laurel MD for $1,000.. Made me think of you. Damned if I can't find it now. It was for sale with three other cars. Maybe it was on forcbodiesonly, or cbodydrydock.. I've checked all my barnfinds and bringatrailer Mail, but can't seem to locate it, could have been with miscellaneous cars on forabodies.. That'll bother me now.

The '68 300 is the one to see in that forabodies only ad. He really should post pictures of it, so I can see the extra two doors and be happy that I don't want it.

Not sure what's up with that Charger... it shouldn't have a dash lamp for either reverse or seat belts, but there it is anyhow. It's got a few cool things going for it, including the clock dash (Rallye was standard on SE) which will easily take a factory tach, the Tuff wheel, and that luggage rack. Options be damned there's not much rare about any '73 Charger. They built a third of a million of them. The 400 is a good builder, but really doesn't increase the value of the car in my opinion. $1,500 might be a decent deal if you really wanted one of those cars, but $2,200 is just too much for that car with so many issues. I'd have a hard time pulling a four-digit amount out of my pocket for a '73-up B-body project unless it was a U-code or 4-speed car.

After owning my '66 New Yorker, the fast roofs and dashes on the 67-fuselage years leave me wanting. I loved the dash on my '66, and the three mile wide ashtray. Makes me really want a glowing dome car. The fuselage style reset the mild disappointment for me, different kind of disappointment, but nothing similar to compare it to.. Awesome in their own right, but early to mid sixties design is still tits for me

Edit.. Sorry Cows, I love 'em all, just some more than others. However, wagons trump all..

1973's don't do it for me, but, I still have a ton of '71 parts lying around, grilles, tail lights and front and rear bumpers with brackets... Honestly, if it wasn't for the Challenger on the hook I'd probably drive out there with my trailer and wave a handful of 100 dollar bills in his face.

Priorities and all that! :bwuhaha:

Wow.

That thing is a mess.

I guess it might be viable if some one had a highly rusty donor for all the bits like interior, tail-lights, bumpers, etc. Buying all the stuff this needs piece-by piece would cost a fortune....
