1972 Dodge Demon - $55,000 - Lake Elsinore, CA - 1972 Dodge Demon Pro Touring, This unique car is from Viau Motorsports, from the owner’s private collection. The build was originally complete in 2009 and recently updated with a new 418 cu. in. motor and a new TKO 600 five speed transmission and clutch. The best available parts were utilized for this build guided by two main concepts. First, was the desire for a road race inspired car to be used for “spirited driving” on road tours, Second, keeping with the quality engineering features of Chrysler designed vehicles, utilizing upgraded modern Chrysler parts in the design and construction. This car has been recognized by Mopar Muscle Magazine at Mopar at the Strip winning the Mopar Muscle True Street Challenge, Car Craft Magazine on the Anti-Tour run. 1st place Show winner at the Spring Fling car show in Van Nuys, California, 1st place Show Winner at Mopar at the Strip also recognized at the prestigious National Roadster Show and many other SoCal local car shows. The best parts available were utilized in this build, a detailed list is available. This car has four wheel disc brakes, with a right ratio power steering, custom very cold air conditioning, a very drivable 530 horsepower small block with a road race (Liberty modified) TKO 600 five speed transmission and dual disc McLeod clutch/Billet flywheel. Every part was restored or replaced. In excess of $90,000.00 was expended on the build at cost. A very unique automobile, black on black with factor stripes ghosted in pearl paint.
