1971 Plymouth Road Runner - $90,000 - Fonthill, ON - 1971 Plymouth Roadrunner, 440 six barrel, all numbers matching, 4 speed, dana track pack, hemi orange with black bench interior, power disk brakes. Just finished a high level restoration built per the fender tag, no buildsheet was found. Have lots of pictures of the restoration, fully documented. This one was built in St. Louis for the Canadian market. I can help buyer with importing to the US.
The car was completely taken apart and stripped chemically or soda blasted depending on the part being stripped. Metal work was performed and then Epoxy was sprayed, followed by primer and PPG Dextron base /clear. The underside was epoxied, primered and the final coat is single stage PPG in the proper Mopar Dip Grey . Overspray in Hemi Orange was then applied to simulate the way the factory painted.
Interior has new headliner ,carpet, seat covers. The original dash pad is mint. An NOS dash emblem was found installed. Upper door panels are mint originals. Dash was taken apart and the frame powdercoated a textured black in the proper sheen like the original. Gauges were serviced and are all functional.
Numbers matching engine, transmission and Dana rear end were completely rebuilt to stock specs. The set of Holley date coded six pack carbs were also rebuilt and re-plated. Electronic ignition was installed in the dual point distributor.
Re-chromed bumpers, NOS grille Roadrunner , NOS Plymouth emblem, stainless steel trim polished, NOS wheel centers and trim rings. New steel brake lines and fuel lines and gas tank. New side marker lights and door handles. All latches re plated in the proper finish. New weatherstripping. New front glass , side and rear glass are originals.
This car will not disappoint you, inspections are welcomed.

He's got all the numbers on all the right places, including the engine, trans, and rear axle. Everything that matters is there. He'll probably get pretty close to asking, actually.

As a side note, only the '69 Six Pack cars were A12s. In '70, an A12 on your fender tag meant you had a Chrysler 300 Hurst, which was neither a B-body nor a Six Barrel. The '69 Charger Daytona was coded A11 until December of '68, after which the code meant Daytona. The Superbird was an A13, but in '69 that was the code indicating a 440 A-body. The only one of those codes ever used again was A13, which from 1977-'80 indicated the fire-breathing "Air Conditioning Value Package". :D
