1971 Plymouth Cuda - $240,000 - Maryville, TN - 1971 Plymouth Hemi Cuda show car. Completed in 2010, it has won many awards in national events. Mothballed due to a death in the family it is now offered for sale. Kieth Black 426 HEMI, 4 speed trans. Spec Dual Disc Clutch. 4 wheel Wildwood disk brakes. All custom made! 4 link rear suspension with coil over shocks and sway bar sporting a 350 ratio Dana 60 Positraction rear end including Strange Components. The front suspension includes Ride Tech Air suspension. The body has been tubbed and the floors channelled to accomodate the hand made dual stainless exhaust and headers. An impressive amount of money thrown at this, and yet the instrument cluster looks like it was assembled by a 6 year old.

There is nothing about this car that says "craftsmanship" anywhere I can see. Those LED lights are chintzy-looking, the whole interior is a disaster, and the undercarriage is a mishmash of aftermarket junk that's neither DOT-approved nor as good as what was factory-issued.

Now throw in the fact that they destroyed a real 340 'Cuda here, and if anything it's worth less than if they'd just restored the thing. Glad someone liked it, but apparently that person is dead and the spouse is going off receipts. $50K is way too high for that wreck.
