1971 Dodge Demon - $39,995 - Canton, OH - Our 1971 Dodge Demon is spectacular. This gorgeous "A" body was treated to a complete, professional, no expense spared, nut and bolt rotisserie restoration. Powered by a correct date coded 340 motor that has been completely re-built. Bored .030 over with new 10:1 pistons. Original cylinder heads with GM 202 valves and a 308 "purple" camshaft. This package is topped off with a "Mopar Performance" reproduction "six-pak" set up, and 1350 CFM carburetors. Top quality engine re-build was preformed, start to finish, by one of the nations leading Chrysler performance engine builders, "Auvil's Automotive." The motor is mated to a correct era 4-speed transmission that has also been completely rebuilt and shifted with an original pistol grip shifter. The rear end is original to the car and is an 8 3/4 posi unit, with 355 gears. The front suspension is an engineered "Mr. Norm" rack & pinion set up and make this car handle like a dream. To finish out the foundation is a complete four wheel disc break system.
The body is completely rust free and laser straight and finished in B-5 Blue. Excellent white interior, chrome and more. All in all a super high quality hot-rod Mopar that will enhance any Chrysler enthusiast's collection

Wow... these assholes know nothing about restorations or Mopars. $40K is a whole lot of money for a perfect original/100% restored A-car, and way out of the ballpark for a hotrod someone built to their tastes.

Who the hell is Auvil's Automotive? Shouldn't they be a household word if they're one of the "nations leading" Chrylser engine builders?
 
indeed on all counts....the ONLY way an A os worth that is if theres a hemi nestled into it

mind you someone built a BEAUTY of a demon...but it sounds like the seller got screwed on a trade in lol
