1971 Dodge Charger - $29,900 - Sioux City, IA - PRICE JUST REDUCED
1971 Dodge Charger

Presenting a Special Edition, 2 door hardtop Charger. It has the numbers matching, original 440/375 horsepower 'U Code' engine. It's highly optioned, with power steering and brakes and a very rare optioned AM cassette player and recorder. It also has dual exhaust, buckets, and a console. This Charger has the correct OEM styled wheels. It's as close to perfect from top to bottom, inside and out as you'll find in a '71 Charger anywhere. It's been re-finished in the original Dark Blue iridescent color. It would be difficult to find another as nice as this one!!

Not much to dislike here, including the price. If this were a 4-speed car in another color, I'd genuinely consider buying it. The '71 SE is my favorite Charger, period. For some reason though, to me B5 just doesn't seem to work well on this generation of Charger. It might be the roof or the pinstripe, but it's not often I see one that I like. Strange, since I like B5 on earlier Bs just fine. Still, this is a somewhat-rare beast being a U-code car and it's a well-optioned one at that. From what I can see in the pictures, another $5K on the price would still be a reasonable deal on this one if it's the kind of car that gets your juices flowing. Not often one can say that in the Hemmings thread.
