The build sheet shows a Sales Code of Y79 which designates it as a "Media or Promotion Car." The order number begins with R which designates a special order. The Warranty Pamphlet shows that it was sold by Chrysler to Chrysler. It is believed to be the car that was used to promote the Mod Squad TV show. Documentation includes 2 Build Sheets, Warranty Pamphlet, and Final Inspection Sheet. It's a 2 tag car.

All that documentation, but you can't come up with the Mod Squad stuff?! Probably because it doesn't exist.

A) Networks were usually given the cars used in TV shows for "promotional consideration". Rarely did they go back to the corporation.
B) The Mod Squad car was converted to a 1972. It's well documented, as it created the "mystery" of '72 Challenger convertibles, much like Dodge's badly-airbrushed ad created the "mystery" of 1971 Challenger T/As. Chrysler likely provided the parts for the conversion to keep up interest in its Dodge E-body, but it's unlikely they still owned the car.
