1971 Dodge Challenger - $99,500 - Warrensburg, MO - This very special 1971 Dodge Challenger convertible with a scheduled production date of Wednesday, May 26th, 1971 left the assembly plant in Hamtramck, MI with a 383 cid, 4-bbl engine and a 4-speed transmission w/pistol-grip shifter and was finished in ‘Plum-Crazy’ purple paint with white bucket-seat interior. It is number 29 of only 31 built in 1971. This 1971 Challenger convertible was decoded and certified by Galen V. Govier on January 30th, 2003 and is the Chrysler Registry.

yeah, yeah, yeah....it's a documented ragtop, documented R/T, documented 383, documented 4-spd....and certifiably over priced. :dgt:
 
It's a $40K-$50K car with a $15K engine and $3K hood added (it's not a factory Shaker car either). So, at best I come up with $60K, since you can't get squat without an engine or hood, and that's being generous since you'd almost have to dock another $10K for the missing original engine.

It kind of puts you right back at what it would be worth Platinum restored with the numbers engine and right hood, so yeah... he's asking double the money.
