1970 Plymouth Duster - $29,995 - O'Fallon, IL - For sale is a 1970 Plymouth Duster 340 located in our Indianapolis Showroom. In 1970 Plymouth hit a home run with a budget priced muscle car the 340 Duster. They took the cheap-to-produce platform Valient wearing a new fastback body and dropped in the hot 340 CID four-barrel V8 which was lighter roomier and faster than the 340 Cuda. The Duster 340 came with a few performance enhancers as well which included heavy-duty underpinnings front stabilizer bar six-leaf rear springs and front disc brakes came standard. This 1970 Plymouth Duster 340 is powered by its original 340 CID V8 engine backed by a 4-speed manual transmission running to a Sure Grip rear end with 3.55 gears. The 340 is topped with a four barrel carburetor and was rated at 275 horsepower and 340 ft./lbs. of torque from the factory and sure comes alive when you push your foot to the floor. This Duster came equipped with a 3-speed manual transmission from the factory but has been swapped out to a 4-speed manual giving you a little more fun out cruising around. Not only will this car get up and go it looks great doing it! The body has been repainted in an eye popping Lemon Twist color and accented with black horizontal stripes and a Go Wing out back and makes this an absolute show stopper. The interior sports front buckets and rear bench covered in white vinyl and is accented with black carpeting and headliner.
