Here is history within reach when demanding 'only' an original unrestored car will do. Others are close but no cigar. This car stands alone. This car has clear history, shocking condition and the car is stock. If another Cuda has both front and back elastomeric rubber color keyed bumpers, they have been added, repainted, or are on a car lacking in other areas. Lets say a similar Cuda has the over head console, leather, and both rubber bumpers, that car falls short as comparisons continue. If another Cuda has the highly sought after FE5 red paint, 8-track, fish gills, shaker and can match my factory options, then mileage or history falls apart in comparison. Look around and you come right back to this one of a kind car for all the right reasons. Show me another with (3) three contracts..., you can't. It is truly easy to set this car apart from any other.

They are only original once ... It is wonderful that we do resto-mods and restore because the original cars are gone. Equally unquestionable as fine art it is the original collector car that is intrensic. Retrospective opinions don't count with an original. The hands that hold the keys to this one of a kind Cuda enter the ultra rare club. V.I.P.s only please!

Well sorted in fine tune. *Note: Pictures show born on car 15" rallye wheels but with after market trim rings and center caps. No worries, the original trimrings and center caps come with the car. Has it dawned on you yet? You won't find another one like this. Even the cv joints in the drive shaft are original and excellent.
All Documentation is original. Including three contracts. Two contracts resulted from ordering from Santa Maria, CA through the New York Compu-store Brokerage house. The first contract ordered a green car. The second separate contract ordered a red car with added options (because isomeric bumpers weren't available in green) The Car was built out here at our California production plant. The third purchase contract re-states options, price etc. but was released by "Culver City Chrysler Plymouth" whom delivered the car and third contract. Interestingly the rallye dash is listed in all 3 contracts but the factory missed the order completely. Therefore before delivery the Dealer installed 'cost free' as noted on contract, the correct rallye dash. All history in print not hear say. Very exciting clear history on this (1) one of (1) one car.
This Cuda has the very first CA temporary registration which was taped to the inside right passenger windshield at drive-off. The first dmv CA registration card is included with registration cards up to the present. The Car remains 7 miles from original first home. No grey areas just clarity.

  1. Further excitement follows: This 440-6 Cuda conforms to arare Chrysler "promotional" Cuda seen in Chrysler Coproration advertisement. What did they ever do with that promotional car seen with high profile "racers" standing along side? That promotional car was FE5 red, over head consel and one piece head liner, plus both red isomeric bumpers ... It continues from there, check, check, check, the options on my Cuda and the promotional car appear the same.
  2. Original engine retains factory internals and explodes with power. No blow by and no oil consumption being as released from the factory. This pure stock car has never been to the drags but expect around 13.6 e.t. quarter mile at nearly 103 mph on period correct narrow poly glass tires. Hold on to this cuda in the mid range where the 440 six pack really performs. Interestingly the six pack and hemi both developed 490 ft lbs advertised stock torque . However, my stock six pack makes that torque 600 rpm sooner then hemi. That early torque is factory noted at 3200 rpm. This quick torque advantage gives my triple carb car the edge between traffic lights. To "Six Smack" the stock Hemi, line up at the traffic lights.

Good story in Hemmings Muscle Machines December 2013 pages 22-27. fyi ... it can finally be said: Iversen Motor Company recently closed its doors due going out of business. * The reason this Cuda was delivered at Culver City Chrysler-Plymouth instead of our local Dealership is ...Iversen Motors wasn't liked much so delivery was taken elsewhere.
