1970 Dodge Super Bee - $89,990 - San Juan Capistrano, CA - Fully restored resto mod 70 super bee. It was a two year frame off restoration. Just completed (10 miles on restoration). Paint is hemi orange with black buckets. It has a new 4 speed hemi trans with custom overdrive, pistol grip shifter, new 410 track pack rear end, 505 mopar stroker with 6 pack carbs (with dyno sheets at 550 hp), Boyd's junkyard dog 18 inch wheels, rally dash with tic tock tach, custom stereo with amp and sub all hidden, custom trunk, wilwood disc brakes, new chrome, new rubber, new glass, new belts, classic air Ac, custom headers and exhaust, it has less then ten miles since it's restoration was completed. Every part on the car was either rebuilt or a new reproduction. She was sprayed with raptor both inside and out for heat and sound. She is as beautiful on top as she is underneath. She is a real super bee born here at the Los Angeles plant.

The interior, for the most part, is tastefully done, but regardless of how you upholster them, I know chubby Firebird seats when I see them.

Other problems:
Where are the undercar and engine pictures?
505 cubic inches and 550HP makes me wonder, "What's wrong with the engine?" Better results have come from pump-gas 440s.
A 4.10 gear is a Super Track Pack rearend, which also means it damned-well had better be a Dana 60.
Raptor is not designed for either heat or sound deadening. It's fucking bedliner and is relatively stiff. It's also extremely heavy.

Fifty grand I could see. Not ninety. "You couldn't build it for that," they say. I respond with, "I know. I could do it better, and to my tastes, for less."
