The Dodge Challenger is the name of three different generations of automobiles marketed by the Dodge division of Chrysler. From 1970 to 1974, the first generation Dodge Challenger pony car was built using the Chrysler E platform. A 1970-only model was the Dodge Challenger T/A. This model was presented in a coupe and convertible versions.

The car we are selling is equipped with the potent combination of a 440 Six Pack engine putting out 390 hp. and a HD 4-speed/pistol-grip transmission. The car is painted in correct Hemi Orange exterior with a Black interior. This car is 1 of 61 produced in this combination. This numbers matching car is equipped with 34 options. The coding of all these options has been authenticated by Galen Govier, guru for Mopar products. This car has gone through a full body/paint restoration, all of which is documented.

In its first outing after the restoration was completed, the car won best overall finish at the prestigious June, 2014 Greenwich Concours. This is a rare opportunity to own a unique piece of Dodge history. The values of these cars had dropped in the past few years. However, the tide has now turned and prices are now definitely on the uptick.

At 1/3rd that price, I'd be pissed about the wiper motor and the battery. God only knows what lies underneath the car.

Yes, it's the only year of an R/T convertible, yes it's a Six Pack/4-speed, but no--the market is nowhere near that right now.
