1969 Plymouth GTX - $125,000 - manchester, NH - This car was built at the Lynch Rd. assembly plant in Detroit Michigan on Sept. 18, 1969. There were a total of 196 built in 1969 with a 426-2x4bbl 425hp engine for USA specs and 11 built for Canada. 98 were 4 spd and 98 were automatic. This 1969 Plymouth GTX Hemi is one of the 98 4 spd cars. Rotisserie restored that took approx. 4.5 yrs. The car has the complete #'s matching engine, trans., and rear end. Starting with the motor, $15k was spent on the rebuild on this mighty 426 Hemi, bored .030 thousands over. Magnafluxed block, decked block square, pressure tested, align hone, new Eagle steel, Eagle connecting rods, Diamond custom forged pistons, 3 angle valve job, resurfaced both cylinder heads, bronze valve guides, Ferra intake and exhaust valves, titanium retainers, 10 degree keepers, Viton seals, Beehive springs, ARP harden bolts, Felpro head gaskets Shubeck composite lifter and stock cam. The work was performed by PK Machine in Fitchburg MA, a very reputable machine shop. Specs and the break down of the complete overhaul is available upon request. The engine has no more than 2 hours running time, the components under the hood match as well. Intake cards, exhaust manifolds, radiator, dist., refinished better than the factory! Every fastener, clamp, hose, nut and bolt was restored or replaced on this Hemi. The correct style battery, date coded spark plugs wires. No expense spared on this tremendously high quality restoration. Rebuilt steering box, wiper motor, new gaskets, seals, correct Mopar battery cables, every receipt is available to view of this restoration. The trans is a Hemi 4 spd., completely rebuilt, 3's matching, new clutch, pressure plate throw out bearing, Dana 60 rear with 4.10 axle Sure Grip. Dyno tested @ 535hp, new Hemi suspension, balanced driveshaft, complete new suspension kit, front bushings, all new front end components, Gardner OEM show exhaust system, everything picked for this restoration was the very best. Factory color scheme Seafoam Turq. metallic. Beautifully restored body, countless hours blocking, prepping, wet sanding to achieve that perfect straight body. New vinyl roof, completely restored bright work, chrome plated orig. bumpers. N.O.S. rear trunk pan trim, N.O.S. rear tail bezels. Many trim pieces were replaced with new old stock items. New date coded glass through out. Weather strip, window felts. Everything you can think of was refurbished or restored. Mirror finish paint that looks like glass No flaws, proper alignment to all the sheet metal. The bottom side has been also wet sanded and buffed. Spotless trunk with the same mirror finish. Full size orig. spare, jack and trunk mat. Check out the interior...compete new Legendary interior, buckets with buddy seat, everything is new! Full Rally gauges, cluster was restored, factory radio, new wood grain dash, brilliant in every way. Black out hood treatment, fender mounts turn signals, PS, PB. Less than 5 miles since restored. so..im going to take a stab that the date codes are faked?

dont get me wrong..shes a beauty...but i have to ask..why isnt the "original" miles stated if the car is this well documented?
