Everyone knows: pictures are worth a thousand words. Could you guess that I’m the 2nd meticulous owner? Hey, did you happen to notice the Bright Red shiny ol’ paint?
Ya’ know I’ve dreamt of this since Jr. High school: of owning a 1969 Bright Red Dodge Charger R/T like the full color photo advertisement from Dodge. However by the time I could drive in 1977 any Dodge Charger R/T was very difficult to find in nice shape. Did I mention? …according to an expert Ma Mopar scheduled 3,605 4 –speed Charger R/T’s and not one to be found at the used car dealers lots or in the local newspaper classifieds.
At last luck was with me in 1978 when I fell in love with her at first sight. Yeah, I purchased this R/T in 1978 from a gentleman whom worked at a new car dealership in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The story is a doctor traded the car on his new luxury ride. The gentleman purchased the used Dodge Charger R/T from the new car dealership (as you see it) and kept it off of the road parked inside his garage without registration. After about a year he changed his mind about owning a Chrysler product and was wishing for another brand pony car. So, the he decided to sell the Bright Red Dodge Charger R/T 4- speed car.
Word spread quickly to my hometown. Somehow a friendly night manager at the local chain grocery store knew about the Charger and I was a Mopar fan. He asked if I would be interested in taking a look. Naturally, I agreed. Then, I was given the ‘gentleman’s’ name and phone number. I called, set a date, and the rest is history.
The moment I saw her I just had to take her home.
How ‘bout you? Is it too early to know? Only you have the power to decide.
Since I’m not a salesperson… I can’t sell you the R4 Bright Red Dodge Charger R/T. Without any help from me she can strut her stuff, showing off her natural sales abilities! (For me, it was the fear of losing a needle in a haystack chance of owning incredible fun, fun, and fun, while being noticed with a powerful Dodge Charger R/T muscle car chick magnet!)

  • Experience has proven to me that she is absolutely thrilling at shows, cruise-ins or on the road being seen!
Wouldn’t it be a joyful scream for you to be seen while driving such a popular well known muscle car, too? Well, now ya’ can because she runs extraordinaire; without worries about a show paint job.
I purchased solely because I truly loved this particular Dodge with the correct pedigree. This awesome Charger R/T is just right for me! Is she the car you have been craving? Is she the Charger R/T 4-speed car you’ve been searching for, too? Has time passed you by for years or even more than a decade?
…She’s my personal toy… garage kept and professionally maintained. Yes, a good example ready for crusin’. I haven’t researched her prior history of the doctor’s ownership please don’t ask. All in all small details, my Charger R/T does have some paint chips and body dings. Actually, with a close inspection notice that the lower quarters in pictures have very little rust.
Aside from maintenances my Charger R/T is precisely how I brought her home. She rolled off the main assembly line without air conditioning, or ps, and pb but nicely optioned. I am in possession of a very nice Broadcast (build) sheet along with the fender tag.
Surely, I’m really excited about our private appointment/ showing/ inspection together! I will assist with the inspection should you need to have her up on a lift. Fair enough?
PS I’ll even personally guarantee my girl has the factory correct bright red color combination that commands attention, grabbing more excitement than many others! -- Or, I won’t allow you to enjoy her.
After all—I really do want you as happy and thrilled; just as I still am - after all these years.
Today, I’m sincere in seeking an appreciative party of my personal 46 year old Dodge muscle car cruiser.

Now is your moment! Check it out again for yourself, friends, partners, or group, again. She wears factory sheet metal, great factory undercoated floorboards, trunk, frame rails, and #’s matching drive train. During your inspection: doesn’t it seem as if the remade cars with aftermarket metal are kind of a letdown?

What are you going to do?

So why wait? I’m looking forward to your contact. Before it's tooo late.
