1968 AMC AMX - Auction - Owls Head, ME - With only 6,725 AMC AMXes produced in 1968, this vehicle is a real 390 “Go Pack” car with only 79,802 actual miles on it. This AMX, production #1968, is equipped with power steering, power disc brakes, factory A/C, factory reclining bucket seats, and keyless entry. This vehicle also has brand new tires. According to the consignor, this AMX is an excellent running and driving car. Sold with a title and registration.

Uh, keyless entry?! Did it come with a coat hanger or something?

It looks like a nice car, though even the ad on their site has nothing but exterior shots. The Megashifter would have to go, though. Undercar/underhood shots would really help determine if their expected selling price of $22K-$28K is realistic.

Why did we not get this one from the same auction? $80K-$100K seems a bit optimistic on the GTX, though.

The same people that list keyless entry for a 68 AMX managed to use the words performance and luxury in the same sentence to describe a Hemi 4spd GTX. :doh:
