Judging by the sign he had made, my guess is he's gonna be sorely disappointed when the car doesn't bring as much as he thinks it's worth.
 
Maybe in ford or chevy language 1100 of something is rare, but in Moparese that's a lot. :dgt:
 
For a while there, 383 Six Pack intakes were dirt cheap. No one wanted or needed them, and Edelbrock only does a run of intakes when there's enough demand. Then they sit on the rest, and the price starts to dive so they can be rid of them. I imagine he bought the intake when it was $189. :D

The "resale red" is supposedly the original color, but yeah--he cheaped out on the top and other areas and now likely wants top coin for the car. The favorite argument for aftermarket wheels is how much they cost new, but in the resale market--and we all know this--they're essentially worthless. Unless they're rare, discontinued, or OE wheels useful in a numbers restoration, take what you spent and divide by four. That's about what you'll get after 30 other people have already tried to chisel you on them.
