Was this car Plasti-Dipped? The paint looks almost gooey.

It's the real deal, but I don't know that it commands that kind of money with the "paint it body color rather than restore it" motif, aftermarket silliness underhood, etc. There's a lot of work to be done for restoration money to be asked, and that's kind of spendy for someone's hot rod. It's not exactly what I'd call "period correct" for a Day Two kind of hot rod, either.
