You can now own a VERY NICE Classic Luxury Car that is getting hard to find, especially in this kind of BEAUTIFUL MOSTLY ORIGINAL condition !! The original - "little old lady" - owner bought it BRAND NEW August 16, 1967 at Chrysler Plymouth City, Inc in Spokane, Washington and the second older owner bought it from her in 1979 and has lovingly owned it for the last 37 years !! I say VERY RARE because only 9,415 Chrysler Imperial Four Door Hardtops were built in 1967 !! The Chrysler Imperial was a stunning body style in 1967 and still is some 49 years later. 1967 was also the FIRST and the BEST year of the 3rd generation Imperials and they tell me it's the year to have !! We just purchased this Chrysler Imperial from the previous older Washington State owner and as you can clearly see in the pictures and video it was his pride and joy for sure !! This Chrysler Imperial Hardtop still retains it's correctly mounted - FACTORY ORIGINAL - left inner fender mounted Imperial data tag - FACTORY ORIGINAL - driver's door pillar mounted Imperial VIN plate - FACTORY ORIGINAL - inside trunk lid mounted jacking instruction sticker - FACTORY ORIGINAL - factory assembly line build sheet, NEAT !! - ORIGINAL - 1967 Imperial operator's instruction manual - ORIGINAL - Chrysler "Certicard" warranty ID card - ORIGINAL - dealer warranty form and the - ORIGINAL - Imperial records portfolio, all of which are shown in several pictures below. This BEAUTY is a NICE - DRY - SOLID - Washington State - Idaho high mountain desert - Western vehicle since it was brand new and boy does it show !! I drove this Imperial Hardtop for about a week as my everyday driver to and from the office and running errands as needed and I can assure you it runs and drives VERY WELL !! It cruises smoothly and easily in town and also on the freeway at 75+ mph !! THIS IS A QUALITY CAR FOR SURE THAT IS READY TO ENJOY !!At the heart of this Chrysler Imperial Crown Hardtop is what appears to be the VERY STRONG !! - FACTORY ORIGINAL - Code "81" - MONSTER BIG BLOCK 440 CID V8 motor in it that is running very well indeed (10.1:1 Compression and 350 Horsepower from the factory!!). The motor also still retains the ORIGINAL 4 barrel intake manifold, ORIGINAL exhaust manifolds, ORIGINAL valve covers, ORIGINAL air cleaner housing and the ORIGINAL 4 barrel carburetor, Etc... . Sounds GREAT too with the factory style exhaust system. This Beauty is big but trust me it is a "ROCKET" !! The engine is backed by a SMOOTH - Code "5" - "TorqueFlite" - three speed automatic transmission which also functions very well. The BEAUTIFUL !! - 100% FACTORY ORIGINAL !! - Code "M9X" - Black Leather with Real Walnut Wood Accents - Luxury Imperial Crown interior is in BEAUTIFUL !! condition with a VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black Leather split front bench seat with folding padded center armrests, NICE ORIGINAL Black carpeting, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black Vinyl headliner, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black Vinyl sun visors, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Imperial steering wheel, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Matching Black Vinyl and Real Walnut Wood accented door panels, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Factory Gauge Clusters, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black Leather rear seat with a folding padded center armrest and a VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black Vinyl dash pad with NO CRACKS !! In my opinion you're not going to find a much nicer 100% FACTORY ORIGINAL INTERIOR !! in a 49 year old Classic Luxury car than the one that is in this BEAUTY, UNBELIEVABLE !! !! All of the ORIGINAL black rubber weatherstripping is still soft, supple and looks GREAT for being original. This Chrysler Imperial is nicely equipped including WORKING FACTORY "Airtemp" Air Conditioning that blows COLD, factory power brakes with discs up front, factory power steering, factory power windows, factory wing windows, factory power wipers, factory front and rear seat belts, factory armrest storage compartments, factory tilt and telescoping steering wheel, factory 6 way power adjustable driver's seat, good heater and defroster, original chrome driver's side view remote exterior mirror, working factory AM transistor radio, factory auto-dimming headlight sentinel, factory gauge clusters with 120 MPH speedometer, factory trip odometer, original day / night rear view mirror, factory back up lights, original clock which is no longer working, factory power antenna, factory rear seat opera lights, factory fender skirts and working factory fender mounted turn signal indicators. The - Code "M" - Turbine Bronze Metallic exterior finish is EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL showing some small chips that have been touched up and some imperfections but is still bright, shiny and looks GREAT as you can clearly see in the video above and 50 ADDITIONAL PICTURES !! These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners any of which would be pleased to own this one. The suspension and drive line all seem to be in good working order as well as the electrical system. All of the ORIGINAL Chrome and Stainless Steel exterior body trim and moldings are in VERY NICE condition including NICE ORIGINAL Chrome front and rear bumpers, VERY NICE ORIGINAL badging and a VERY NICE ORIGINAL Chrome grill. Check out the AWESOME Factory Original Imperial stainless steel wheel covers and NEARLY NEW whitewall steel belted radial tires. Boy does this combination look OUTSTANDING on this Imperial Crown Hardtop and really give it that clean "Factory Original" look !! The Clean - Solid trunk sports the ORIGINAL black carpet liner, a full size whitewall radial spare tire and the ORIGINAL jack and lug wrench. This Chrysler Imperial Crown is a good investment opportunity and it is priced right ! It is in very good condition from top to bottom and from front to back. It will not disappoint someone looking for a good example of a sought after and hard to find collector car which is not seen at every stop light for sure. If you have been looking but cannot find a Classic Chrysler Imperial Crown Hardtop worthy of your hard earned money look NO further because this is the one ! All of the ORIGINAL light lenses and reflectors are clear, bright and BEAUTIFUL for being ORIGINAL !! This vehicle is in nice mechanical condition and it runs and drives very well. It is solid with respect to the overall mechanical condition as well as the overall cosmetic impression. I looked underneath and also included photos below.
