Rebuilt 440/V-8,
Rebuilt 727 Trans,
Newer power top looks and works great!
White interior is in good+ shape and complete,
All interior lights work,
Factory console with tach,
Windows roll up and down nicely,
Carpet is very nice and has good floormats.
440cu in V-8 was completely rebuilt ($2,366 on 02/25/1998),
Donor Engine is a "73" built 09/08/72,
Edelbrock carb and intake ($400),
Torque Flight 727 transmission was completely rebuilt ($1,400 on 05/21/2008 only 1,971 miles ago),
New dual exhaust from the collectors back (sounds great).
NEW: Brakes, Rotors, Calipers, Master Cylinder and Booster, Radiator, Alternator, Regulator, Starter, Drive line, Hood Mat and Trunk Mat.
New Keystone wheels and BFG tires ($1,638),
Paint is not original. It has been redone, just not sure when.
It is not perfect. It has some tiny blemishes throughout the vehicle.
I would call it "Driver Quality",
Over $12,000 have been invested in this GREAT DAILY DRIVER in the 6 years!
Car needs nothing but a new owner.
I drove it this weekend and smiled the whole time.

Other than the wheels, I really like it. It seems like a pretty reasonable number, perhaps a couple of grand high... but you'll have that with convertibles. Not a fan of the GM trunk paint or the chrome air cleaner, either... but he didn't claim it was "restored" either. It looks like an enjoyable driver, and the upgraded dual-circuit brakes tells me someone was paying attention.

It is a nice looking car for an almost decent asking. Kudos to the owner for not trying to make another GTX clone.
My only concern would be the left quarter being stitched together just ahead of the gas filler. :hmmm:
