1966 Chrysler 300 - $7,900 - Washington, DC - Here we have a true barn find. Local car that has been in storage for many years and is completely original. Was briefly on the road 4 years ago after many years in storage then stored again awaiting restoration which never took place. One of only 2500 Convertible 300's made in 66 with a little over 100K miles. Body is very straight and real rust free with older paint that still shows decent. Several little nicks and minor chips but overall no body damage or accidents ever. Interior appears to be 100% original and is showing its age. Everyting is there except the radio with most gauges, lights and even power top working. Top is in decent condition with no holes or tears and after some lubing goes up and down amazingly well. Has the correct matching # 383 engine along with factory power steering, brakes and A/C. We just drained the fuel tank, flushed all fuel and brake lines, put new spark plugs, wires and new battery. Plus fixed some power steering leaks and did belts. Car starts right up and runs fantastic. Transmission also shifts real nicely and car drives pretty good considering its lack of use the last 2 years or so. Does need lots of TLC but underneath is very rust free and solid with pictures available upon request. Overall a very complete and rare car that will make an excellent project for someone wanting to bring it back to its former glory.Link to ad on Hemmings.com
