1966 Chrysler 300 - $13,950 - Maple Lake, MN - 1966 Chrysler 2-door hardtop 300. Very Rare 300 option. Only 75K actual miles and looks it and is. Have her great history including original window sticker, all manuals, even original salesman's big brochure. Nice correct black/black finish (code BB for black top and bottom). Many options right on window sticker. Code G stock 383/4BL with 10:1 compression, so very efficient for very good HP. Power steering, power front disc brakes for safety. Beautiful original silver factory buckets and center arm rests, so take 3 in front or to keep your honey closer (like the old days). Front and rear factory seat belts. Front and rear seat, door panels and carpet, headliner are all excellent original (proving the miles). No cracks in dash, steering wheel or door panels. Beautiful inside with cool spaceship speedometer and gauge cluster. Factory cold air, all original air cleaner, valve covers and A/C compressor. Never used ash trays and never used cigarette lighter. Ash tray in this year so big you could use it to feed a large dog (very cool). Totally dry under carriage and all sheet metal. Trunk is also dry and detailed, original jacks. Stock torqueflight automatic trans (code 195). outstanding huge chrome bumpers. All great stainless and chrome in and out. All lights work, new dual exhaust, not too loud, but sounds just right. These beauties drive great due to their long and wide wheel base. All tinted glass is excellent. Factory desirable rally wheels are excellent with like new expensive radials. It might have only 75K on it, but they must've been hard miles. Both a repaint and a carpet replacement were done already. No doubt it's a very-pretty car--the non-original wheels do look good here--but a '66 300 without the 365HP 440 is just a New Yorker with a fancy grille. Halve the price and you're maybe a little low, but at least in the right price range. During the peak years of musclecar pricing, EFI Ed bought a 38,000-mile example with the 365-horse tall-deck, buckets & console w/tach, and full power goodies including Budd 4-piston front discs. It was 100% original except for the tires, in white with a black vinyl roof and interior. He paid $3,800 for it, and I don't think he's put another 10K on it in almost 19 years.
