1965 Plymouth Fury - $21,995 - La Vergne, TN - For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 1965 Plymouth Fury III. This incredible survivor has a mere 37870 miles on it! This numbers matching wonder is still wearing the original paint on the outside and the same vinyl on the inside. This 1965 Fury for sale has the original engine and transmission still in place and working well. Under the hood lives the legendary 318 CID V8 that after 51 years and 37870 miles is finally broken in. Backing this almost new engine is the 727 Torqueflite 3 speed automatic transmission that with this kind of miles per year should last another 199 years or so. The interior of this survivor is clean and well preserved. The vinyl is soft and shows no signs of cracking. The carpet is clean and untorn. Headliner tight and unstained just as you would expect for a car with less than 38000 miles but not at all what you would expect of a car that is 51 years old! In 1965 you could buy the fury fury II or the one that is three time the Fury of the others. In 1965 the Fury III was the car to own with plenty of power a great ride lots of room and plenty of style I guess it is still the car to own. Options for this Plymouth Fury for sale include: AM/ SAT radio power steering Seat belts vinyl interior and radial tires that wrap around rally rims. And there ya have it, how can you go wrong, it has an aluminum radiator, a new alternator, updated AC and a stereo in the ash tray.

Actually, I don't mind the Mag 500s on these.. They're not my choice, but not a deal breaker, either.. Ditch the A/C, paint the radiator black, (welcome to the era of aluminum radiators..) and 86 the Sirius antenna on the back deck, and get that head unit out of the ashtray so's I've got somewhere to stuff the roaches. White's a crappy color, but beggars can't be choosers.. Drop the price 12k, and I'd drive the wheels off of it. Also, I'll need to borrow about $9,000 dollars.

you shoulda just come got the 66 i had for 3k engine out but with it...383commando 4spd console buckets with police suspension and brakes..sways front n rear #s matching..a real oddity

One of the few cars that actually look half way decent with skirts. :hmmm:

I still don't have $3k.. Nor do I think my job would be cool with me disappearing for the time it would take for me to work it off. You're right though, I'd have been all over that like a cheap suit.

Yes, considering there were no numbers to match in '66... or '67, for that matter. :D

The rear swaybar was an addition from a later car or the aftermarket. Factory ones didn't exist in '66, cop suspension or not. Most cars didn't even have a front swaybar back then.
