1965 Plymouth Barracuda - $5,000 - Coweta, OK - 1965 Barracuda, original V8 car with the 273 and a 3-speed Torqueflite tranny. The car is in pretty decent shape. The car isn't original but is just a nice driver and a fun, rare car. People love it. It RUNS and DRIVES!

THE GOOD: as stated, it runs, drives, and stops well, has heads from larger LA type V8 with Offenhauser intake and 4 barrel Edelbrock carb, dual exhaust, converted to electronic ignition (no points), has front disc brakes, has all Mopar Rally wheels (including a spare), all lights work, has all correct emblems, rear glass is perfect no cracks

THE BAD: it has one penny-sized spot where rusted through of top of firewall on passenger side (see pics), and rear quarters need redone (car comes from Utah where they salt roads...the rear wheel well rusted through some time ago and was repaired with some type of fiberglass over the metal so it looks ok but to be perfect the rear quarters need to be redone...I tried to take a picture of it), the paint is not great (an old, not too well-done spray of red...car was apparently at some time blue, originally black), and the tires hold air, but are old with some cracking, the front windshield has some chips, and the interior, while it's pretty much all there, needs to be redone. The front seats have everything there, the foam is just shot and need recovering, the top of the back seat needs recovering the bottom is fine, and the carpet could use redo-ing as well. There is no headliner (I have all the metal strips that go underneath), and the trunk floor needs to be covered. The speed/odometer doesn't work (just needs a new cable). While the huge rear window is in awesome shape the front windshield has a couple rock chips.

I have a couple boxes of extra parts from previous owners. It's mostly trim pieces. I also have the original heads, intake, and two-barrel carb.

Asking $5000. Cash only. Clean and clear title in hand.

I need no help selling. Serious inquires only please.

Email or text preferred as I don't have good cell reception at my house. If you do call, please leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Not a totally insane asking for a fixer. Shame that the 1st gen cuda's just don't garner the demand of the later ones.

It's an asking price, too, which means it could probably had for considerably less if one showed up with a fistful of cash.
