1965 AMC Rambler - $10,500 - Beaufort, SC - For Sale1965 Rambler Classic 770 Convertible with a “RARE” 327 V8, a limited production. Most of the Rambler Classic had the 6 cylinder or the small 232 V8. This car has been well preserved believed to be sitting in a Atlanta Georgia garage, since 1978. Just before she went into storage a restoration project was started, a rebuild on the engine and transmission even though it just has 79,000 miles. She has a complete new exhaust system, 4 new shocks, newer radial tires, brakes, master cylinder, starter and carburetor. …Not much else to do!!!
This is an amazingly “RUST FREE” car throughout, which shows the kind of protected storage she had all her life. This in itself is VERY rare.
It runs GREAT and a true pleasure to drive.
She will make a great driver as is, or with some minor body work and
a paint job she will be a treasure.
