That's a neat little car.. I'd like it better if it weren't an auto, but I wouldn't kick it out of bed for eating crackers. The dash has a lot of style for an econobox. Not sure it's anywhere near $7900 tho. I'd give him $3k if I had it to burn, only because I like the blue, the console, and the two door.

I saw that, and dismissed it in about thirty seconds.. Normally, steelies are black, white, or body colored.. Or, if you're from the left coast, sometimes red... These don't look like somebody tried to match the color, these look like somebody tried to find a complementary shade of blue.. I like them. It draws your eye like a good steel wheel/dog dish combo should, but it doesn't interrupt the car.

I'd turn those white walls to the inside in a heartbeat, tho

Column-shift console car. AMC was just full of bad ideas back then. :D

It's actually a fairly attractive little car, though I'm not a huge fan of its face. Definitely one of the prettier rooflines of '64, though. The spare proves the wheels should match the body color, which was standard practice on base wheels at the time (Chrysler did that into early '72).
