I honestly don't understand the whole '62-'65 clone value thing. I don't even see where an original car is worth this, unless it was never cut (like Lynn Ferguson's old car) or has a pedigreed race history. The factory race cars weren't fun on the street, and still aren't since they lack basic amenities like adjustable seats, radio, any kind of defroster, or even a passenger's wiper (which this car actually has). The droning from the exhaust on this example would have you scrambling to get out after a couple of miles, not like you could take it on any kind of meaningful trip.

This looks to be a very pretty, well-done car other than the dirt-sucker air cleaners. I just can't imagine someone paying more than $30K-$35K for something like this. It's a fake, and it's a complete toy you won't want to play with all that much after less than a year of ownership.

youve got electric cutouts..why the fuck do you still cut the exhaust off at the axle?!?!?!?!?!?

play toys like this are great fun IF you built it for yourself.....

One year later, with the tapered C pillar, and I'd be fawning all over it. But nowhere near eighty grand, period. End of sentence.
