For how rare these Studes supposedly are, there sure are a lot of them for sale... the current owners must not like them any more than the buying public did when they were new. :D

They're really a very decent car. Back in the early-mid 60's I knew someone that had an identical car as this one, color & all. The Hawks were a much better built car than the Larks, but the Larks were Studebakers bread & butter. Mechanically the Larks were decent but body construction was a nightmare. It didn't take long that the stigma of poor construction helped destroy what was one of the most advanced cars built. :(
