I really like this one, but because of the major miscues in the engine bay and interior I'd have to say $15K is far too much money. I guess Barrett-Jackson is still fresh in their minds, but neither the "spray it red" firewall and "paint it black" interior with horribly mismatched seats make my hit list. I'm all for the Slant to V8 swap, but why they'd make such an effort only to drop in a 318 in there is beyond me. A 360 fits just as well.

Who the hell painted those lovely valve covers gloss black?!

commando valve covers......OOOOOOoooo...as for the black on them..imo it looks pretty good it actualy makes them pop a lil more....makes me actualy doubt its a 318 and actualy a 273..since good luck finding a set of those

its deffinatly a flip me car

The 273 valve covers aren't that hard to find. There's usually a set or two on eBay at any given time; whenever I've gone looking I've always found a pair available, though I'm not willing to pay what others apparently will.

If it is a 273, that would lower the value even further for most buyers. There's nothing "authentic" or correct about any V8 in a '63 A-body, so why give up 45 cubes, 50+ horsepower, and at least 60lb/ft of torque? I know you love them for some reason, but 273s are essentially boat anchors.
