That would be a solid start at 1/4 the price.

Clean the mud from the wheel wells
put the correct top on it
Paint the trunk floor
At least polish the brightwork :doh:
Fairly decent job of re-upholstering the seats, but why not repair the drivers back rest while you had it apart? :naughty:

And who puts hood locks on a 300. :huh:

Well, he's apparently seen the one that was listed at $200,000 (and was a stunning restoration) and figures this one's worth 10% of that. He may be right of course--the 300 boys are their own crowd--but for the average Joe I definitely think it's overpriced by at least double.

Still, it is a convertible 300 from the epic-styling era. That adds a lot of value by itself, so...
