1960 Studebaker Lark

1960 Studebaker Lark - $9,950 - Englewood, FL - This Studebaker was sold new in Phoenix, Arizona and judging by it's condition must have remained in a rust free area all its life. It was completely rebuilt in the mid 1990s. Thousands of dollars in receipts document engine and overdrive rebuild, redoing or replacing chrome and stainless, repainting the original color ( oasis green), etc. A Holley 4 barrel was added but the original manifold, carburetor and air cleaner come with the car. Dual exhaust add a slight rumble. I was told the after market air conditioner was installed by the dealer when car sold new. It is complete but needs work to cool. There is an aftermarket radio in the car, but the dash was not modified and it comes with an original radio.
The car still shows well enough to bring home trophies from the local AACA show. However, it does need freshening. The welting around some of the windows is frayed. The chromed plastic decorative overlay around the instruments has dried out and broken. The are some wiper marks and a small chip in the windshield. It needs to be driven and loved. I am selling it to complete another project (1974 Corvette Roadster resto-mod) before I am too old to do so.
The car comes with an owners manual, the two volume service manual and a couple of dealer advertising brochures.
