1956 Chrysler 300B - $38,500 - Oakland, CA - A very rare 1956 Chrysler 300B. A true 300B, This car wears 3N56 VIN and retains its original dateplate in front of the radiator (signifying Model # 44 300B) Same owner since the early 70's. With the exception of the motor, and one respray in the original color, this car is all original. The interior has never been touched. It has all of it's original body panels, spare, jack, trunk carpet and paneling as well as many of it's original engine compartment details. There is NO rust and the floors and frame are in excellent condition. A true 300B 3N56 VIN and original dateplate in front of the radiator (signifying Model # 44 300B)
The motor is a freshly rebuilt 1957 392 Hemi. We have receipts for this. Transmission is the two speed Automatic Powerflite.
In addition to the recent motor rebuild, (approx 200 miles since) the car has also recently has new tires, bolied gas tank, new exhaust, radiator flushed and brakes done. New heater core, rebuilt starter, generator and voltage regulator. I would feel confident driving this on a long trip. All gauges and lights fully functional as are the radio, wipers and horn. This car truly is a wonderful time capsule.
Please note the owner prior to the most recent one, sometime in the 60's, attempted to make this car into a Daytona replica and as such he removed the power brakes and power steering.
