1955 Dodge Royal Lancer

My only complaint is the upper radiator hose. Adding the word "Royal" is very fitting.

thats the same body/color combo of the wagon i almost trade my 58 ford for...and i can say this..if youve never sat in one...they feel like they have a 3inch chop..and the hemi under the hood was my plan having that 56 hemi sitting here looking for a home.....but..a month after turning it down i found THE wreck..a freshly done 58 ford with a week old interior 312 police interceptor 3 on the tree with OD.....i still question my choice on the trade but feel like i made the right call

Back in the day those 312 'cepters were the hot ticket, until you ran against a chevy 348. That's mostly because at the time all of the Mopars were huge. But in '62 it all changed with the new B bodies. They were ugly, but they sure hauled ass.

and that 312 has a VERY unique sound...and sure does boogy in my 58 course..you cant shift fast with that non syncro 3 on the tree...you can try..and you can get good at it but you just cant do it as fast as youd ever like to

Ah..ya...the sound. lots of guys would run dual glasspacks and you could hear them cackle blocks away under normal driving. But when you would get on it they reminded me of a Harley, they got louder but the rpm's didn't increase.

mine seems to spin up descently on the single 4brl ..and while i am running single set of glasspacks..ive got full exhaust all the way to the bumper..and it sounds glorious and like nothing else
