5 window (Pilot house cab) with duals.
Based on my research, the truck has been in the family since purchased new in Salem in late 1952/early 1953. (Dodge trucks with the serial number that I have were sold as a 53' when shipped to the west coast ofter October, 1952).
Flat 6 cylinder.
The truck has just under 48K miles though had not been started for the past 11 years.
I had the gas tank removed, cleaned and boiled, then repainted and replaced, along with a new sending unit.
It is my understanding that the truck is all original with exception of the parts that I replaced and listed below.
I replaced the battery, belt, all of the hoses, plugs, distributor cap, points, rotor, coil and wires. I replaced the water and anti-freeze and changed the oil. The brake cylinders on each wheel were corroded and beyond repair so all have been replaced with new.
The body is very straight with one small dent above the headlight on the driver's side.
All of the glass is intact, no cracks or damage.
Everything appears to work well with the exception of the fuel gauge.
The truck runs incredibly well.
Based on my research in an old brochure at Dodge-semis.com, I believe that the truck is an F model 1 1/2 ton, 9' stakeside, 12,000 GVW.The engine is 250.6 cu. in., 118 HP.
And guess what, there haven't been any recent recalls for faulty airbags.

HAHAHAH actualy the price is a bit high but at that same time..in much sense of the word the truck is a survivor...i wonder how well the paint would buff out for a "true" survivor
