1951 Studebaker Champion - $14,900 - Troy, MI - This 1951 Studebaker was restored in the late 80's by a Studebaker clay modeler who worked on these Studebaker's in the 40's and 50's. The exterior is light blue with wide white walls, factory hub caps and sun visor. The interior is gray/blue cloth with a bench seat. The engine is a 169.9 CID, 1 barrell, 6 cylinder and the transmission is a 3 speed manual with overdrive. This "Bullet Nose" beauty starts and runs great.

OK, change the color, lose the tires, change the color, add some cubes and.....oh yea, change the color.

I looked at one of those in a JY years ago. If I remember correctly is was around the same time Hot Rod magazine was in it's "Dare to be Different" phase. That car was pretty crunchy...

I wish I would've bought that Kaiser Henry J out of Turek's several years back. It was actually in really good condition considering its age, and to paraphrase Doc from the end of Back to the Future, "Where we're going, we don't need factory floorpans."
