1950 Willys Jeepster - $26,990 - Fredericksburg, VA - Rosner MotorSports is proud to offer this terrific 1950 Willys-Overland Jeepster. Our Jeepster is finished in Cherokee red over Midnight black and powered by the durable Hurricane inline four cylinder engine. The Hurricane four is backed up by column shifted three speed manual transmission with overdrive. The Jeepster was conceived to bridge the gap between Willys military/utilitarian vehicles and traditional passenger cars. The design was penned by the legendary Brooks Stevens of Excalibur fame. Willys did not have the tooling machinery to manufacture complicated shapes. Stevens designed a line of vehicles utilizing a common platform from which several models could evolve. He envisioned the Jeepster to be attractive to veterans of World War II. Automotive historians consider the Willys-Overland Jeepster to be the last true phaeton to be constructed by a major US auto maker.
Our Jeepster runs and drives great. It’s a nice older restoration that shows wonderfully. The convertible top and side curtains are in excellent condition. Our Jeepster is market priced at $26,990.00 plus tax, tags and processing. For additional information and to schedule a test drive, contact Bob Reilly at Rosner MotorSports.
