1949 Willys Jeepster - $22,800 - Rapid City, SD - The last true Phaeton produced by a major automaker.Only 10,326 1948-49 Jeepster VJ-2's were produced and there aren't too many of them left that have not been modified. This Jeepster has NOT been modernized in any way and retains that 1949 touring car look and feel. This is a extremely nice Jeepster, a real head turner and "Thumbs Up" getter from other drivers! I used the Jeepster for marketing my business and it worked great! Since the restoration it has always been garaged.
Under the hood is a totally rebuilt (lead-free gas) L-134 inline 4-cylinder engine and a 3 speed manual transmission with overdrive engine.
It has a newer paint job with a few very small road chips.
Chrome has been rechromed and looks excellent.
It is a six volt system with new Interstate battery.
The radial tires are like new (whitewalls currently turned in).
A driver's seat slide has been installed to allow adjustment for taller drivers.
This Willys has absolutely NO rust! NONE!

Top and side curtains, frame for top, gas tank and sending unit, exhaust pipe and muffler, fuel pump, turn signals, hub caps, seats covers, a new overdrive, chrome bumpers, steering wheel with suicide knob, outside mirrors, dash nobs and carb kit.
*The T-96 transmission has just now been rebuilt with new Transmission Countershaft Cluster Gear, Mainshaft, Synchronizer, Transmission Low & Reverse Gear and Second Gear.
