1947 Studebaker Champion - $11,995 - LOS ANGELES, CA - 1947 Studebaker Champion Deluxe, Southern California post-war classic car in great original condition. 6 cylinder, rare overdrive transmission, split windows. Clean interior. This car has received a nice mechanical reconditioning: New brake system, fuel lines, new tires, new clutch, newly rebuilt transmission, newer clock, recently painted two-tone paint (burgundy and black top) with clear coat, newer battery. Newly installed original AM radio that works. It took several months to delicately re-craft all these parts. Also, the buyer will get a set of original wheel skirts. Heater works. Vacuum wiper system. Rebuilt radiator/new hoses, thermostat. Less than 200 miles on tires.
NO ACCIDENTS, NO ENGINE SMOKE, NO BODY RUST.
All windows roll down nicely. Doors closed snugly. Engine starts as it should. 100% Original upholstery- it has some tears on rear seats & interior door panels; hubcaps dented but clean; It has original spare tire, original tire jack, shop manual, owners manual, and the sales brochure. All dashboard gauges work nicely. Odometer seems to be stuck. I would rate it 8 to 8.5 out of 10. ONE OF A KIND. I believe I am the 2nd owner. First owner was an aerospace engineer who really took care of this car for many years (he passed away); I also kept this car in a garage and I took care of it. YOU WILL NOT FIND a Studebaker Champion in this condition. If you are looking for an elegant car to drive in town and not to worry about complex repairs, then this is your car. I will be glad to send more pictures and refer you to my mechanic for more details about this nice vehicle. Priced well below market value. Clean California title.
