1935 Plymouth PJ - $25,000 - Bentleyville, PA - This 1935 Plymouth PJ coupe is completely stock with all 1935 parts including the original numbers matching 1935 engine and correct 1935 artillery wheels and hubcaps. The odometer shows 44,948 original miles. It starts,runs,drives and stops very well. There is no smoke from the tailpipe. I had the valve covers and fuel pump off and the engine is perfectly clean inside. The hydraulic brake system and the fuel system have both been completely serviced recently. The body is all 1935 metal with perfect floors and trunk. There has never been any rust repair on the body or fenders. You will not find a 1935 coupe with a more solid original body. It has the original 1935 running board mats. All of the chrome is very nice. The original grill and emblems are perfect. Has the original undamaged hood ornament. Has the original chrome Stabilite headlights with the correct lenses.The crank out windshield works well. All the window glass is excellent. The steering wheel and the gauges all look excellent. The woodgrain on the dash and window frames is excellent. The bottoms of the fenders are painted body color. The udercarriage is also clean and painted. Has a new original style wiring harness installed. Has a new original style top insert. The paint is the correct 1935 color and is about twenty five years old. There are a few scratches but it has held up well and still looks very nice. The interior was redone in the correct style fabrics. The original jack and tools are still under the seat. This is a nice solid bone stock 1935 Plymouth PJ coupe. Buyer is responsible for all title transfer costs and transporting vehicle after purchase.

This may be, but it doesn't appear that it was "screwed with". The components that were "re-worked" appear to have been done right. And who among us owns a car that at some time has not had something taken apart and put back together? :huh:

And I think the price is very realistic too. :cool:
 
Look! It's the "original" Mopar Rallye wheels! :dance:

It's a very sharp car, and though I'm not a huge fan of that era I do like it. However, it's probably a good thing that I haven't hit the lottery jackpot, because the current owner would cry at what would happen to that car on my watch. :D
