I'll be sort of on vacation for the same time.
Going to Boston for training next week and I'm tacking on a few days to spend down there and taking the wife and daughter along...

So 'sides the quaffing of the barley sandwiches, a bit 'o da bakin', what's a beeper got lined up to fill the time with? Slackness is always a very popular item, and it could be so very well justified if there was a new and fresh mega smokie to celebrate your 240 hour rest.

Yes indeed Mr.6pk, once the improvements on the back yard show proper progress the slackness and herbal meditation will become more frequent. [smilie=::

Purchased project supplies and installed new steps on the deck today then tomorrow some storage shed remodeling is on the agenda. With temps in the low 90's predicted for the next few days the shaded areas of the yard will be most popular.

-aha, 'tis merely a test to determine your level of committment to the cause Beeper. Forge onward undeterred by soggy weather. A large mixture of hops and hemp will make the bad weather man fade in his influence.

Did just that, put on my rain hat and after about an hour of replacing the back wall on the shed the rain ceased. Mark that off the list! [smilie=e:

Spent most of monday on this...

Logged 120 miles exploring the backroads and discovered some wonderful scenery on roads I had never traveled before. Very relaxing and good for the soul. [smilie=c:

Then I got drunk. [smilie=a:

Theres just something about going for a ride that changes your whole attitude on life in general. I let a friend of mine ride my bike last week and he had permagrin for days. It was kinda neat to see someone else ride it too, that hasnt happened for 10 yrs or so. Just got a 79 electraglide in and I rode that. Vacation time starts for me tonight, going to Topeka for moms 70th and a suprise family reunion. I get to see my grandson for the first time also. Mom just sent me the race schedule for Heartland Raceway so you know where we will be this weekend. I guess the rattle can paint job I just did on my daughters car will air dry at 70. Enjoy the 4th guys, I KNOW I will. [smilie=e:
