This is my new project (MAXIMVS II). It's a 1964 Plymouth Savoy and will have a hemi backed by a 4 speed and a Dana. It's rust free in primer and will be a street ride as well as a NSS racer when I can attend some races. I'll need to redo the cage. Anyway, here's some pics:

"Shades o' me past"

Back in my carefree days I had a white 64 sport Fury w/383, 4spd. I beat on that thing royally for 3 years. Beside the problems that I created, there is one thing I did run into when running a heavy clutch. The firewall will tend to flex at the clutch bracket mounting. Easy to reinforce.....:vroom:

:bravo: cant wait to see it evolve . is MAXIMVS II coing to be white or are you going with a different color / colur ?

Snook, I got to tell you. This is the project that could make me forgive you for selling the 'Runner. :p

Back in the early '70's I had a '64 Fury 361/4spd that I loved the hell out of. White/red gut and rust free. Only got rid of it because of the original rear design. (Splined drums on axles really sucked.) I didn't have the money back then to change out the rear. :(

Good luck with her, and I expect to see great things happening. :bravo:

But you do seem to be missing some big holes in those inner fenders....:toot:

Looks like a heck of a good starting point.:)
