That FiTech system is fully self learning and tuning from what it looked like in the vid. The Holley kits from what I saw and read look like they are might be the same...self learning and tuning as well?

That looks like a damn nice resto on that car, I don't see much in the engine compartment i don't like, and from what I can see of the car it looks like a quality build! From watching the vid and reading the article I don't think Holley offers a complete Six pack set-up....just the EFI system...

That all looks damn amazing to me. The spots that only "you" can see being the painter and builder of the car will most likely go unnoticed or at best ignored while appreciating the over all work on the car! (y)

So much wrong on that engine bay...the AC hose routing even with the after market compressor and kit is atrocious...looks like a lazy unimaginative person did the install. Then there is big GM booster and MC, electronic ignition box just up on the firewall for no reason, the black painted...

Unfortunetly a lot of these high end performance cars are now in the hands of car dealers and their pricing is generally way higher then what the market would support.

Wouldn't header muffler just exacerbate the clearance issues under the car?

Mental note if you are leaving a car on a lift in an area that might get hit with a high storm surge...toss on some chains or straps to secure it to the lift. ;)

I have very little understanding of HVAC stuff but I think your heater might be to old to have this function. You might have to put in a gas line shut off valve, either manual or electric then wire it through the T-stat so when you select the Fan function it will shut off the igniter and gas?

I love the tractor, but the more modern V8 just doesn't suit it...I think it detracts from the overall esthetics of the machine. I think an old V8 Flathead or more period correct V8, maybe a Buick Nailhead would suit it better. But at least it doesn't have a Fram filter on it! 😄
