Made a bunch of progress yesterday.

I'm not sure. I mean I think so but the clutch is in there so perhaps not? I'll let you know as soon as I figure out how to fill and check the level in each. The filling part is straightforward but I have no idea how the engine oil level is verified.

The transmission parts and engine crankshaft load from the top. There is no oil pan. There is side panels that bolt on to the engine to access the rods and mains. They should be visible in these two pictures. if you look close the bolt on panels for the transmission can be seen as well.

My goal was to paint and then set the engine in the frame by the end of the weekend. I achieved that goal. It's Yuengling time!

A buddy of mine gave me this old Dodge grill shell and planted the seed for this little project. Now to sort through the antique car parts floating around here from the 3 Oaklands, the '33 Pontiac, the Maxwell, the Cord, and the '03 Olds.

I have been logging my fuel milage on every fill up on the Dart. Each repair had slightly improved the fuel economy on my daily commute with the best improvement from the wheel alignment. I knew it was toed in but 5/8"???? 😀 The 2nd biggest improvement was after the valve lash adjustment...
