    Dakota ready for the track....

did a little more work to the Dak over the past few weeks. Added a hoodscoop, and we made a tonneau cover out of a large roll of vinyl that my father-in-law gave us a few years back. Total cost for the cover was $20 (for the snaps)...not bad. We also put on a new coil, plug wires, and I...

Anyone see this? I usually hate reality type shows (my own life is interesting enough:shifty: ) but this one is pretty good. A very wicked looking black Dodge Charger (aka Mr. Angry from DodgeCharger.com) is on it. I don't have cable television so I watch it online here...

http://www.milandragway.com/home.html should I? :D I can just imagine how packed the place will be. They say they will pick a group of cars running either 9's, 10's, 11's, or 12's. I wonder if they would really pick 12 second cars, it seems doubtful but who knows? My poor husband, I...

The time has come to upholster the Challenger bucket seats that a12bee kindly gave us. My husband's Challenger originally had a gold interior, but it was converted to a black interior a long time ago. We seriously considered putting it back to gold, but realized we really didn't want to give up...

A big thank you to A12bee

We have been looking for a pair of bucket seats for our Challenger and Mr.A12bee was kind enough to send us a very nice pair that should be a cinch to recover. The only thing he requested for them was a dozen valve cover bolts! And of course we covered shipping. It's nice to know there are...

    Surprise!

Last month we adopted a guinea piggy that had been abandoned by her owner and needed a home. I noticed as the month went on she became suspiciously fat. A couple days ago I saw her start to squeal and jump around her cage and correctly guessed that she was indeed in labor. My husband and I...

Mr. Pigpen is a brave man...

Earlier today we took the Duster out for a real good shake down (with the new 3,500 converter and fresh 727 with nifty shift kit). At first I took it easy cruising around the block a couple times just to make sure I had the feel of everything, with my husband in the passenger seat. Until we...

but I will update later with pictures. :toot: Right now my 340 is body color (green) and I got tired of the color. Since we pulled the engine to put in the new tranny and to do some cleaning in the engine bay, we figured we might as well change the color of the engine too. Stay tuned. ;)

    Towing capacity of a C-body?

Husband is looking at a 1977 Dodge Monaco Royal with a 360. He has the crazy Idea that it will replace his 4X4 truck that he uses to haul our Dakota to the track. Does it have enough tow capacity to pull a trailer with truck weighing in at a svelte 4500 pounds?
