Is there any way to test outside the engine? At this point I would just buy new & put them in expecting good stuff, and add a prayer with the way new stuff seems to fail more often than not!

Todays ride the oil pressure seemed to stay higher longer, stops were only going down to 15 or 16, I made a stop at a friends after about 1/2 hour of driving around. After that it got a little finicky on the way home, actually stalled when I pulled out of his driveway & made me nervous at stops...
