Sounds like someone needs to let the county, city, know about the ownership status.
Letting the RedCross know might result in them "helping" by taking care of the legal ownership issues.
After letting the paint dry for a few hours I went back out to the garage and started cleaning my O.D. parts. All thats left to clean is the cluster gear and I need to remove the tail shaft bushing.
It's a 3 gun set. One for primer, one for color, and a detail gun. I like them. It took a bit to figure them out. I had used my buddies set for years. They are similar but not the exact same name.
These like less air pressure than Nates. Once I figured that out its been a great set. The...
Shart things.
Jass and I took a ride to a town about an hour and 15 minutes from here this morning. I had made arrangements to pick up a OD 4 speed I found on FB market place. It turned out to be locked up and rusty inside. The fella who had it was a very stand up guy. He said he had no idea...
Today was good. I ran up to work first thing this morning and made some repairs on my wifes car.
When I came home I set the Shart down to check ride height with the Super stock springs. I fully expected to take measurements to give to the spring shop I worked for to de-arch these springs...
This morning I went up to work to do a quick transmision fluid and filter change on my 2014 ram 2500.
5 hours later.....
LOL
There is 240,000 miles on my truck so I can't complain. To be honest I was shocked at how clean the pan was. No debris what so ever on the bottom of the pan and next...
Jass hit the ground hard! I was right behind him when it happened so I had a great view of it. My first thought was OH SHIT! Knowing his back has been broken more than once. I knew he was going to be ok when he was more upset about spilling his coffee.
Not having a good back myself, I knew...
Jass, Wayne and myself went to our favorite yard today. It was good. Good indeed.
I can't believe what I found today. But I'm sitting here looking at it so I guess I have to.
The first thing I found just completely blows my mind.
I was laughing at the bad home grown wood dash (yes wood)...
I get the "nice car" and "that thing is cool!" Comment's all the time when I'm out in The Shart. I almost always respond with "It's a 4 door? " then "Thanks". Those conversations usually end with "Do you want to sell it?" I always say "I do not!"
I drive the Shart damn near every day. I love...
I can't think of a better way to learn those skills. I have no idea what I'm doing. I just think it out as I go. Most of the stuff I work on comes out OK.
I'm not sure. I mean I think so but the clutch is in there so perhaps not?
I'll let you know as soon as I figure out how to fill and check the level in each. The filling part is straightforward but I have no idea how the engine oil level is verified.
The transmission parts and engine crankshaft load from the top. There is no oil pan. There is side panels that bolt on to the engine to access the rods and mains.
They should be visible in these two pictures.
if you look close the bolt on panels for the transmission can be seen as well.
