    The Nova.

Fastenal gave me a price of $202. NO! I plugged the same rough dimensions into FedEx and it was about $75.

    The Nova.

Still haven't had a chance (when it comes to mind like Sunday mornings and evenings) to contact Fastenal, but it's on my to do list.

    When you start writing checks...

I like the color. I'd drive it, I think you're dead on on the numbers Doc. This is what happens when someone that primarily works with GM gets out of his zone. I had a '74 with a factory 318 that looked very much like this one, though not nearly as nice, when I was 17ish. I found a 1972...

    My R/T

This is the only rust on the body, and it's from a broken window. I still have the entire interior out minus dash and everything above the window line. The musty odor is not going away. Underneath it's in great shape, save the hard brake lines and rear sway bar being seriously pitted.

Here's the cam I'm going to put in my 410, it has 9.5:1 compression, stock heads with 2.02/1.625 intake exhaust valves and it's port matched, a 52mm throttle body and shorty headers. http://store.wpsracing.com/ch1951.html

    My R/T

I ordered the brake line kit, front to rear was perfect, the lines from the master to prop valve and ABS unit were great, the front lines were completely wrong. I tried to bent them to fit, but being stainless when I tried to flare them my tool was totally inept. I ordered a roll of tubing to...

    My R/T

This is inside the club cab portion on the truck on the driver's side. I'm going to hit it with a wire brush on my drill to knock off the roughest portion, use some Evapo Rust to get the rest and paint it with rust reformer on the inside. I'll clean up the bottom side of the truck the same way...

    The Nova.

I can check with Fastenal tomorrow on the shipping. Without the cam, let alone an LA motor to put them in, you hang on to the rockers at best they'd be shelf adornments down here. As far as the cam, I just pulled it off the shelf and other than a few more years of dust on the box, it's just as...

    The Nova.

As a matter of fact I do still have that cam, still in the box, on the shelf. As of late I've only had '88 and newer LA and and a few Magnum engines and a Teksid block DOHC Ford mod motor. The only other thing that you were holding for me were the adjustable rocker arms. I'd be more than...

    The Nova.

Well, a few parts have been acquired. I have the original pair of fenders that were on the Valiant I sold my brother, he fixed the one that had been bent up, both are primed and pretty much ready for install, though he did hang on to the reflectors. He picked up a set of '74 Duster NOS versions...

    My R/T

I think the moisture kept it intact. I watched a couple videos about this, it seems to be a common query. I think I'll take a plastic putty knife and scrape it, then wipe it with goo gone.

    My R/T

I yanked the full interior, the cab been sealed up for a year after the window was replaced and the carpet was saturated. I could've probably shampooed the carpet, but I want a vinyl floor because I use my trucks as trucks and I will eventually be climbing in and out with muddy or otherwise...

    Interesting use of an Imperial

My thoughts exactly Doc. I'd also blackout the cailpers behind the 17" wire wheels.

    My R/T

It's home! Thinking of a name, nothing comes to mind as yet. It has few more miles than I thought, miscommunication with my brother, it has 136k. Runs great, my brother replaced the fuel pump and fuel injectors, did an oil change and it fired right up. There are no brakes at all, I don't see any...

My 71 Duster work in progress

The one thing I wish I had done was pull the trigger on new heads. Specifically a set of Aussie EQs that were still available, the new ones are all chineseium and went in on a healthy cam. I'll be addressing at least the cam shortly, the motor is coming out of the Ram and going into the Dakota.

    What are you working on?

Scion something or other I believe. Working on a hog problem this morning at my friend's ranch.

Can't afford most R/Ts at this point.

Transmission issues is the reason I sold my 99 F350.

Can't afford most R/Ts at this point.

I've towed a lot with 1/2 ton trucks, I even put my old, red 2500 on a trailer behind my '06 1500. That Cummins on the front of that trailer, and the draw bar flipped up so it had 3-4" rise, still had the rear of that truck almost dragging, I wouldn't have done it had there been another option...
