    What are you working on?

Been working on the rec room of our basement. Had the gas fireplace installed late spring and finally could afford to get the rest going. The walls had been fiberglass insulated with a vapor barrier installed but still seemed cold and drafty. Had spray foam done almost 2 weeks ago now and what...

My 71 Duster work in progress

I had a marine service manual that started in Kentucky and then came to Ohio and then to Tennessee then floated around there at a few spots then back to Ohio to NY State to customs and finally to Canada. It mush have cost a fortune over the paid shipping cost on this manual.

Stretch, I would lay the vinyl out on the roof to get it molding to the roof lines once you are done getting the surface prepped to attach the vinyl keeping it warm as Mike said to get everything flat with no wrinkles.

    What are you working on?

Cow, at least you have enough headroom to get in. My garden shed doorway has gotten me many many time because it is so low and I don't have anywhere near your height. It's a 10x14 Arrow metal shed and I would never buy one Again.

I bet that brought a smile to your face. The others in the shop were probably afraid to get in your way to work on it.

Aluminum wiring was known to overheat and was banned from being used in some parts of Canada. In most home reno programs, they usually replace all aluminum wiring.

    New storage building

You did well. If you find a level spot to locate it , I would pull the tires off to store out of the weather. You can always put them back on if you need to move it, but to save them instead of wasting away would be the right thing to do.

Looks good. Jealous of your spaces. Suggest going with LED lighting, cheap to install and you get a ton of light for little expense to run.

FCA Recalling 132,000 Vehicles with Diesel Engines Worldwide

They need to go a step further and replace and relocate the timing disc which has had a number of failure due to the magnet glue separating from the metal timing disc. It is located at the end of the crank and you have to remove the tranny and transfer case to get at it. Very expensive for those...

Thoughts on freeing up a seized part...

Heat it up lightly and add a good penetrating oil before it cools and it should draw the penetrant in. May have to repeat a few times to help. Good Luck.

    What are you working on?

You got to love some peoples hack jobs at electrical work. 7 in a junction bow is unreal. The junction box itself is to be left accessible at all times and not covered over.

    Jester's Progress...

You can actually shave .120 off the head to raise the compression. Slant 6's also like a $5.00 spring in the oil pump to increase oil pressure, a 5 minute job. An Offenhauser aluminum 4 bbl manifold with a Holly 500 cfm works well.
