With that little push from resto I went ahead & clear coated the 65, it actually makes the color closer to the dark green I had, don't think I screwed it up? See when dry...
Dang, that paint is nice, I'd say they went to the right man for that!
Now you have me thinking of clear coating the 65, I usually didn't bother on models, see if I can pull it off or if I ruin the model?

I have my 5 footer, a bunch of flaws in the paint, a couple of body panels a little off.

Moved on to getting the car out to get some shots with the stripe on, that with my other added black accents , center caps, mirrors & hood scoops, completes my vision!
Tail panels were always blacked out on the 'Cuda model.

Well they are on, really wasn't that bad, I have a few small bubbles, they say not to mess with them after it's on they will disappear after a while, I'm thinking not on this dang car!

At this point I would just buy new & put them in expecting good stuff, and add a prayer with the way new stuff seems to fail more often than not!

Todays ride the oil pressure seemed to stay higher longer, stops were only going down to 15 or 16, I made a stop at a friends after about 1/2 hour of driving around.
After that it got a little finicky on the way home, actually stalled when I pulled out of his driveway & made me nervous at stops...
